Hannah Sider was born in Malawi, Africa and grew up between there and Toronto, Canada. She picked up her first film camera at the age of 12 and started documenting. Jumping between digital and 35mm, her work artfully displays the imperfections and rawness that the medium attributes through her youthful, energetic and sometimes diary-esque photos. Sider moved to NYC in 2012 and is currently based in Brooklyn, which has greatly inspired the evolution of her style.
