Murray Hall is an Australian-born photographer and director who lives in New York City and works around the globe. Within the last decade, Murray created some of the most graphic and memorable imagery for titles like Condé Nast Traveler, Martha Stewart Living, Bon Appétit, GQ, Esquire, and many more. He is best known for his colorful, eye-popping, and distinctive portrayal of food, travel, portraiture, and interiors.
Murray began his career assisting some of the world’s top fashion photographers before joining forces with his wife Paola Ambrosi de Magistris in 2010. The duo was known as Paola + Murray for ten years, and they quickly made a name for themselves by revealing the beauty in the overlooked. Murray is now taking the lead as a solo shooter, carrying on the duo's artistic legacy. He is a true positive force on set, bringing optimism and deep collaboration to every assignment regardless of whether he's shooting solo on a mountaintop or directing a large crew.
