Michael Schnabel
Bio: Michael Schnabel was born in 1966 in Germany. In 1991 Michael moved to San Francisco to return to Stuttgart in 1995, where he still lives today. Today Michael divides his time between commercial assignments and fine art work. He has been the recipient of many prestigious industry awards: AOP gold, ADC gold, Communication Arts, The One Show, Graphis, Effie, PDN Annual and has consistently been included in Lürzer's Archive's 200 best photographers worldwide list. Michael had solo shows with his fine art work in Bozen, Cologne, Los Angeles, Munich, Paris, Zürich, etc. In 2011 he will have his first museum solo show. He is a member of ADC, AOP, and BFF, and in 2007 he was a visiting professor for photography at University Darmstadt.
