Susan originally comes from Washington state, having worked as a graphic designer for about eight years before deciding to pursue a more illustrative direction in her work. Susan attended Camberwell College of Arts in London in 2006, receiving an M.A. with Distinction
    in illustration. Susan's work was acquired by the University of the Arts London to be part of their permanent collection, and received the Award of Excellence for Best of Category in the Illustration and 2-D category for the Computer Arts magazine's Graduate Showcase.
    Susan enjoys working in digital and vector format, plus experimenting with distressed effects, collage and screen printing. She aims to achieve a fresh and edgy, yet nostalgic and elegant feel to her work.
