Sophie Fletcher is an experienced Designer of Sets, Props and Costumes across multiple disciplines. Sophie’s academic background in Fashion and Textile Design and Design for Live Performance - Theatre and Events at WAAPA have formed her creative framework.

Sophie frequently collaborates with Vogue Magazine as Set Designer and Props Stylist. She works closely with photographers such as Charles Dennington, Derek Henderson and Emma Summerton. Her fashion and advertising clients include Apple Music, Berlei, Bassike, BMW, Camilla, David Jones, Elle Magazine, GQ, RUSSH Magazine, Qantas, Romance Was BornSheridan, Sydney Theatre Company and Tourism Australia.

As Sophie’s projects have evolved, she has continued her work in the theatre industry, where she began her career, designing sets and costumes for Griffin Theatre Company and Bell Shakespeare and working on a multitude of iconic plays for Sydney Theatre Company.

Sophie is also skilled in designing for moving image, focusing on character and story development through design. She has designed costumes for award winning television series The Letdown by Alison Bell and Sarah Scheller and both seasons of Mr Inbetween directed by Nash Edgerton. Sophie’s film work has seen her create shorts with directors Mirrah Foulkes and Eden Falk as well as feature films such as the Acute Misfortune by writer and director Thomas. M. Wright.
