Christina Poku is a London based photographer and motion director.
Her work is inspired by her background in fine art. She fell in love with photography by staging scenes for photos alongside filming for her practice. Her background in fine art and prop styling underpins her explorative appreciation of symbolism, textures and how imagery can be used to understand and inform the world around us.
Now Christina specialises in still life and beauty, creating conceptual studio environments with a feminine-scientific approach. She’s always thinking about perceptions of reality and identity while remaining deeply curious about her clients and their creations.
She loves an unapologetic colour palette, sharing visual stories that relate to her personal journey, community and our shared human experiences navigating life.
