Greg Barth's re-branding of 7TV won Bronze at the 91st Annual Art Directors Club (ADC) Awards
. Every year a panel of respected creative professionals honors the best work from around the world in categories including interactive media, broadcast and print advertising, graphic design, photography, and illustration. Barth was selected in the Motion category for his spots for the Russian television channel.
Barth used stop-motion animation to create five spots that re-brand 7TV as a Do-It-Yourself channel that promotes health, education, and knowledge. Each spot highlights a theme from the channel-travel, construction, cinema, changing yourself, and relationships. To emphasize the channel's new personal approach, all of the onscreen elements were made and animated by hand.
