Delphine Chanet Captures Stylish Kids for Chloe and Elle

Delphine Chanet photographs fashionable kids for Chlo'e Enfants and Elle France. Chanet photographed the Fall/Winter 2011 campaign for the children's line of the storied French fashion house. In addition she captured several children for a fashion spread in the October issue of Elle France. Both shoots took place on locations in Paris, France.

The Chlo'e Enfants shoot took place in a big empty flat in Paris. The setting had a natural and soft ambiance that was perfect for the look of the campaign. Chanet captured the children playing with large 3D CHLOE letters that are used in the woman's collections campaigns. The result is a mixture of absurdity, spontaneity, and energy. The children enjoyed playing with the letters giving the images a more natural feel as well.

Gavroche, the street urchin from Les Mis'erables, inspired the fashion spread for Elle France. The children wear an eclectic mix of intentionally unmatched colors, patterns, and textures. Chanet captured them in a typical Parisian house in the 13th arrondissement. In reference to Gavroche, who had no parents, they are playing and lounging around without adult supervision. Several of the shoots took place in the house's gorgeous garden.
