Nissan’s Efficiency Range was launched to the Australian market with an extraordinary and innovative piece of type. Inspired by the vast distances and stories from the open road, typographic artists, Vault49, cleverly communicated fuel efficiency in a powerful and inspiring way.
Nissan Australia commissioned a typographically led key visual to communicate the additional miles available with the Nissan Efficiency Range for the Australian market.
The vast distances to travel around Australia presents the driver with a constantly changing landscape which we endeavored to capture through the winding typography, along with small stories on the journey.
To ensure legibility of the message, it was important to have the road bend on itself correctly to let the road surface dominate the front of the typography.
