Brian is an image-maker working across media in design and experiential marketing, collaborating with athletes, artists, musicians, coders, architects and others to create groundbreaking experiences.
At VALIS, Brian leads creative in close partnership with CEO Peter Martin. His background combines creating iconic visuals for software and communication with retail and experiential design to make seamless, imaginative work in any format. By working in emerging fields he has innovated in new platforms including mobile, LED walls, event visuals, wearables, XR, projection mapped spaces and interactive 3D characters.
Through his career Brian has partnered with top global creatives to create multichannel art initiatives with digital innovation, brand communication and physical build outs. At Apple, Brian worked on branding, designing and launching products and software; helping to shape the brand’s current design language. In the Human Interface group, he was on the design teams for Apple Watch, iOS7, OSX Yosemite and Apple TV. He also worked on iPhone campaigns, retail stores, websites and Keynotes for the brand while in house as Senior Art Director leading teams of Art Directors, Designers and Interns.
At R/GA he helped create Nike+ products including a social game of tag, worked on Nike+ Multi Sport roll out and the creation of Nike Fuel, as well as running digital product group focused on innovation for the brand. He also worked on designing and launching Google Wallet and Art Directing the Windows 8 PC campaign for Microsoft. As Global Art Director at Tommy Hilfiger, Brian designed branding and curated collections and art collaborations for the brand, creative and art directing spaces, windows in stores like Corso Como in Milan, Dover St Market in London and Comme Des Garcons in Tokyo and Paris.
Brian’s design career started in-house at Nike where he designed multi channel experiential programs for advertising, retail, PR, showrooms, athlete signings, events and energy marketing. Notable projects include Air Force 1, LeBron James, House Of Hoops, the World Cup and the Olympics.We act as a creative catalyst and partner to brands in order to produce live performances, interactive spaces, mixed reality experiences, virtual characters and content through all known and emerging media.
