#GucciDansLesRues Pre-Fall 18 Campaign

Strategy

To introduce Gucci's Pre-Fall 2018 campaign inspired by the student uprising of Paris 1968, Gucci released three social media films showing students in a classroom passing notes to each other beneath the watchful eye of the teacher. Roderick Stanley wrote the three scripts, working in French to create the dialogue and playful notes, and developing the concept to include a poetry reading: ‘L’Éternité’ by visionary 19th-century poet Arthur Rimbaud. 

He then worked on-set in Paris, providing creative input during the filming of the teasers, as well as creating the utopian slogans spray-painted on walls, signs and banners seen throughout the campaign stills and film.
