Brian Schmitt is an LA and San Francisco based designer and creative director focused on inventing new spaces for play and discovery.
Through his independent studio started in 2015, Brian engages with global design leaders to create culturally relevant work that captures imagination. Currently the studio works strategically across media on product and brand creation, finding the right injections of technology to create iconic experiences.

Previously he spent the last 12+ years working to bring innovation and art to brands, products and experiences for Apple, Nike and Google.
As a member of Apple’s Human Interface group, Brian worked on the design teams for Apple Watch, iOS7, OSX Yosemite and Apple TV. At RGA he worked on Nike+, Nike Fuel and Google Wallet products. Aside from digital products his footwear and apparel designs have been sold at Nike, Foot Locker, Colette Paris, Dover St Market and Comme Des Garcons Tokyo.
He started his career as a Nike intern at the University Of Oregon’s Athletic department and then joined the Nike Brand Design team working on design and art direction for Nike’s Basketball, Sportswear and Football brands. In addition to Nike marketing, Brian has worked as a Global Artistic Director for Apple and Tommy Hilfiger, collaborating with top photographers, illustrators and designers managing internal and external creative teams. Brian has launched Apple products and led global campaigns for Product Red, LeBron James, Air Force 1, the USAB Olympic Team and many others.
