In the visual, the viewer is wandering through almost game-like areas that articulate different levels of consciousness, following Oyinda through her ‘digital’ rebirth. Some elements feel familiar yet very alien; it exists in-between the subconscious passage. We follow her as she moves from the ambiguous server rooms and utopian club, to futuristic cityscapes.
Following the hero “Serpentine” music video, Pussykrew then created three 360 VR visual experiences that accompany Oyinda’s song remixes. The three-part series was inspired by earth’s crust, tropical sci-fi gardens, unreal natural sites, and traditional sculpture. Each video was based on the 3D scans of Oyinda. The scans were placed within the environments as monumental, majestic sculptures. Each scenario encapsulates the mood of the song, allowing viewers to fully immerse themselves in each universe.
