Magazines Boost Ad Sales by Creating Their Own Ads
With advertising pages down considerably from last year, magazine publishers have been looking for new ways to boost ad sales. In the latest trend, publishers are creating custom ads for each of their publications. Hearst publications worked with LG Electronics using Mark Lund's work shot with Y & R to create a customized ad that was featured in a recent New York Times article. Look for the ad in the October issue of House Beautiful.
