In celebration of the release of “Love or Money,” our 14th coffee table art book, B&A teamed with Tristan Eaton’s renegade THUNDERDOG STUDIOS to present an artist-designed, limited-edition series of Eaton’s Thundermutt toys. Featuring 10 figures customized by the likes of Stephen Bliss, Dave Needham, Gary Baseman, Kristian Olson, Kai & Sunny, Plus et Plus, Mick Marston, Tristan Eaton, Andrew Rae, & I Love Dust, the “Love or Money” toy series will drop its first installment of five figures at the special release party this Friday in NYC at Neo Studios. The second wave will be released at a special Los Angeles party this fall. The USP is that each artist has hand made/painted a special secret object which comes packaged in the head of their Thundermutt figures, each of which is limited to a production run of |
| McFaul does LIVERPOOL |

...not content with being involved in some huge commercial projects in 2006 McFaul’s studio continues to have as much fun as they can as often as they can. Last week the Posca Pen duo were up in Liverpool embellishing the walls of The Albany (see below) - a rather natty apartment block home to the rich and b list famous. The 50 metre black and white loveliness was so well received they are back late October to do a further 150metres and now in talks with a certain well known music studio and bar combo in the city about a complete renovation in 2008.
Next week see’s them applying the same gusto to the walls of BBH’s new offices in Manhattan before heading back to the UK to carry on with the stuff they are recognised for...and a strong cuppa. |
