An illustration done by Olaf Hajek was published in the New York Times, under the "Sunday Opinion" section on March 30th, 2008. The full-colored artwork is shown under the headline: "Did Your Shopping List Kill a Songbird?" The beautiful and eye-opening image depicts how the excessive use of pesticide on crops can lead to the extinction of songbirds. |

Yuko Shimizu recently completed a print campaign for Tiger Beer. Shimizu collaborated with the UK based advertising agency CHI & Partners to bring about this ad blitz.The three images portraying beer-filled crates on a sailing ship will be running in the UK Underground. The soft colors and details of the pieces reflect Shimizu's unique and marvelous style. |

Tristan Eaton designed 3 custom hoods for Ford Flex at the New York Auto Show on March 19th-22nd. Using vinyl and paint application, Tristan performed his live art spectacular over the course of 3 days. These custom decals were created specifically for Ford Flex through JWT-Team Detroit. Tristan also painted custom hoods for the Detroit show and will do the same for the upcoming Auto Show in Las Vegas...watch out! |

Bloomingdales recently acquired the talent of Jeff Nishinaka to create the Spring look-book for March 2008. The pages illustrate his paper sculptures of unique representational art forms in 3-Dimensions.
Internationally renowned for these paper sculptures, Nishinaka creates a organic aesthetic and nature scenery to visually complement the apparel. To see more of the look book pages, click on the thumbnail on the left side.

Steven Guarnaccia, renowned for his illustrations in New York Times arbitary, Mural designs for Disney, children’s books, and other publications has been chosen by Velvet Magazine to illustrate the monthly horoscope illustrations during the year of 2008. Velvet also included an article featuring Steven in its February publication. The interview took place at Parsons school of design where Steven currently works as the chair to the Undergraduate illustration department.

| Love in the Jungle, Jonathan Barkat |

Jonathan Barkat graphically sets the scene to the featured article “Love, the Great Adventure” in O Magazine.
By manipulating the photographic images taken in the woods with classic characters such as Tarzan, Jane and Louie (real life chimpanzee), Barkat creates a conceptual jungle-like scenario to enforce the articles content, discussing the consequences in relationships and learning the challenges between retaliating, abandoning and engaging in emotional responses during times of conflict.

His iconic murals, toys and art pieces adorned the walls and beyond, to entertain a riotous crowd. Deejay Alex Moulton from Expansion Team ensured a good time was had by all. |
| Nathan Fox and 'Fluorescent Black' |

Nathan Fox was recently featured in an article in Variety magazine, discussing his involvement in "Fluorescent Black", a graphic novel that will be adapted for an animated film. The book is scheduled to be completed in mid-2008 and will be on the cover of July's issue of Heavy Metal Magazine. This project promises to be another stunning example of his signature style.
