Raymond Biesinger is an illustrator and artist based in Montréal, Canada, who spent a long time in that country’s west. He likes concepts, making music, politics, Instagram, 19th century bird’s eye view panoramic maps, and a mix of minimalism and maximalism. He deploys physical things, electronic means, complex geometry and a BA in European and North American political history to make his images, and has been lucky to do so since the year 2000 in over 1000 projects on five continents. Also on his plate? Playing guitar and singing in the noise garage art duo the Famines and emitting a dystopian creative studio webcomic Studiozeit every once in a while.

Past clients include Adidas, Applied Arts, Billboard, BMW, Breather, Business Week, Buzzfeed, Creative Review, Dwell, the Economist, Fast Company, the Financial Times, Folio Society, Foreign Policy, Fortune, the Guardian, GQ, Lexus, Lucky Peach, Le Monde, Money, Monocle, NPR, the New Scientist, the New Yorker, the New York Times, Men’s Health, Pentagram, the Pitchfork Review, PRINT, the Progressive, Real Simple, Reader’s Digest Canada, Shopify, Sub Pop, Taxi Canada, Time, Toyota, Variety, the Washington Post, Winkreative, WIRED, etc.
