For Gucci’s FW17 campaign teaser, the brand introduced the theme with a series of social media videos, as if characters reading for parts on the set of a science-fiction B-movie.

 - Working alongside creative directors Simmonds Ltd and the brand’s creative team, Roderick Stanley created 20 original scenes inspired by classic science-fiction television series and movies of the 50s and 60s. These were then filmed in front of a green screen backdrop, with the characters and models from the shoot reading from the scripts as if screen testing the part, and Stanley providing direction and off-camera voice.
