Tom Corbett Finds His Park Avenue Princess

Fresh on the newsstands is Tom Corbett’s fashion story in the March issue of Cosmo UK. Readers will appreciate the youthful styling and the vibrant punches of color of the shoot inspired by the hit television show Gossip Girl. Model Kathrin W at IMG would look right at home with Blair Waldorf and fellow Park Avenue Princesses on the upper east side.

Hair stylist Reginal Drummer at Oliver Piro claims, “It’s all about the hair!”, creating loose, shiny waves befitting of the queen of Constance Billard. Fashion director Shelly Vella works her magic with the wardrobe, putting together looks that update the prep aesthetic with a modern, feminine edge. This shoot marks the 10 year anniversary of collaboration between Shelly Vella and Tom Corbett.

Says fashion director Shelly Vella, “Sometimes a story just comes together – I was excited about the mix and clash vibe of the clothes, but Tom just ‘got it’ in terms of the energy and casting of Kathrin for the story. This story makes me smile every time I look at it – and the craziest thing of all – we shot it very quickly with the winning shot selected within the first few frames every time. Working with Tom is always fun and energizing!”
