Shotopop’s Interactive Creativity Guidebook for Google
Shotopop were contacted by app development company WeAreHive to collaborate on a project for adam&eveDDB and Google. The concept behind the project was a pop-up book showcasing all of Google’s flagship products and services including: YouTube, Mobile, Maps, Search and Social.
Shotopop came in on the illustration side of things, creating all the assets used to bring the 6 sections of the book to life. The end result was a fully functional virtual flip-book built on a custom 3D engine. The engine was created in Javascript, HTML5 and CSS3, with no plugin libraries or 3rd party toolkits required.
Watch above for a fun and whimsical video showing how the book works.
You can experience the guidebook yourself here.
