Ken Fallin Illustrates Obama & Romney for the WSJ
Ken Fallin illustrates Barack Obama and Mitt Romney for two WSJ opinion articles written by the presidential candidates themselves. Ken has been a regular contributor at the Wall Street Journal, drawing at least one illustration a week since 1994. This illustration was commissioned last Wednesday by WSJ Art Editor, Kate LaVoie. “I was told not to make either candidate look too grim or too “toothy”, which I sometimes do. It is, after all…caricature,” says Ken.
Ken was asked to draw both Obama and Romney on one page but with enough space between to divide the images if needed. The illustration Ken created eventually ran as two separate images on two separate articles this past Friday, November 2nd.
