Gillian Laub will exhibit at the Robert Berman Gallery in Santa Monica, California as part of the group show “Fuck Pretty,” opening today. The show is curated by actress Angela Featherstone and is a collection of photographs by world-renowned and unknown women artists, whose work inspires her.

Tara McPherson will exhibit at The Eric Firestone Gallery as part of the group show Nose Art, opening today in East Hampton. Curated by Carlo McCormick, the show is a tribute to the folk art created by pilots in both World Wars by painting images and slogans on the noses of their military planes.

Michael Warren exhibited his project “Somebodies” this past weekend at the TEDx conference in Boston. TEDx is an individual initiative based on the TED conferences that bring together people in the community to share ideas and collaborations. Warren’s photographs were displayed for the conference’s participants to view before they began the panel discussions.

Nick & Chloé‘s work is included in Based in Berlin at the Hamburger Bahnhof, Museum of Contemporary Art in Berlin. The exhibition features some 80 emerging artists who live and work in Berlin and covers a full range of contemporary art practices from paintings and drawings to sculpture, photography, film and video, as well as installations and text-based works.

Tristan Eaton exhibited 17 paintings at SCOPE Art Basel. The annual art fair features innovative, contemporary art work from around the world. This year’s fair was located in the historic Kaseme district, just blocks from Art Basel 42. Eaton’s paintings were exhibited along with artwork from two other artists in Contra Projects’ booth.

Kai and Sunny’s latest exhibition, ‘The Flower Show’, opens tomorrow at East London’s Stolen Space gallery. The new show features a series of monotone works, highlighted in glittering silver, which explore the word ‘flower’. These include large-scale, silk-screened images that illustrate the complexity of the flower. This latest work demonstrates Kai and Sunny’s continuing intricacy and connection with nature but also shows a developing maturity and intensity.

Gary Baseman, Craig Ward, and Jeremyville interpret “The Four Freedoms” for the Tribal DDB Gallery Café Launch and Exhibition. Keith Reinhard, Chairman Emeritus of DDB Worldwide, originally penned “The Four Freedoms”. Each artist was tasked with interpreting a specific pillar of freedom.

Broomberg and Chanarin curate ALIAS, the 2011 edition of Kraków Photomonth in Poland. Photomonth is one of Poland’s largest visual arts events and one of the leading European festivals of photography. The festival comprises over fifty exhibitions and accompanying events. The theme this year is the artistic alter ego.

Every year the Newport Beach Film Festival brings together over 350 filmmakers from 40 countries to showcase their work on the big screens. This year, a select group of artists, including B&A’s Henry Obasi, Mick Marston, and Shotopop, were commissioned by agency RPA to create bespoke artwork to celebrate the festival. Artists were asked to interpret the 24 letters that make up the festival’s name in their own style.

Olaf Hajek is currently showing his first solo exhibition on the African continent at Whatiftheworld Gallery in Cape Town, South Africa. In “Dark Clouds Are Gathering By Olaf Hajek,” the painter and illustrator explores the continent’s natural beauty and juxtaposes it with its social and political realities. The exhibition follows the release of his monograph “Flowerhead” published by Gestalten.

Michael Schnabel has created five original photographs for Das Tirol Panorama. The new museum, dedicated to the tradition and culture of the Tirol region, opened March 12th near Innsbruck, Austria. Schnabel was commissioned to produce new work from his well-known “Stille Berge” series specifically for the museum. The five images of the Tirol Mountains were created during nighttime exposure over the course of four months in 2010.

Gary Baseman will exhibit his first solo show in New York City in six years at Jonathan LeVine Gallery, starting this week. “Walking Through Walls”, Baseman’s exploration of breaking through imposed limitations and boundaries in society and the world, opens on March 5th. Baseman explores this concept with the use of collage and silkscreen in his paintings.

Broomberg and Chanarin will exhibit their new series People in Trouble Laughing Pushed to the Ground from February 25th to March 26th, 2011 at Paradise Row in London. The exhibition will coincide with the publication of the series’ book by MACK Books on February 24th. The series continues Broomberg and Chanarin’s ongoing exploration of documentary images in historical moments.
