Stockton Johnson for Vogue China

Stockton Johnson captures colorful swimwear for the June 2012 issue of Vogue China.  Johnson photographed emerging Chinese model Tian Yi enjoying and relaxing in the sand and sun in the eight-page spread. Yi models swimsuits and accessories from Hermes, Marni, Versace, Prada, Chanel, and more. The shoot took place on an island in the South China Sea.

Douglas Friedman for Vogue Italia

Douglas Friedman captures the latest trends in eyewear for Vogue Italia’s March issue. The special section “Wild Eyes” features polished and stylish sunglasses from Marchon Eyewear’s Spring/Summer collection. The models pose in designs by Diane von Furstenberg, Pucci, Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, and more.  Exotic animals, such as a savannah cat, a snake, and a giraffe, accompany the models. The shoot was art directed by the magazine’s editor-in-chief, Franca Sozzani.

Uli Weber in Vogue and at The Saatchi Gallery

Uli Weber captures the women of Downton Abbey for Vogue Magazine. The hit PBS show follows the lives of the aristocratic Crawley family and their servants at the fictional Downton Abbey estate. Weber shot Jessica Findlay-Brown, Laura Carmichael, and Michelle Dockery, who portray the Crawley daughters, in a crumbling Georgian mansion in London’s West End. The Vogue article highlights the actresses’ natural beauties and the makeup that captures their Edwardian characters. Weber calls them “a wonderful bunch of ladies” and adds, “It was a very enjoyable shoot.”

Stockton Johnson for Vogue China

Stockton Johnson photographs metallic makeup and sparkling jewels for Vogue China. The beauty story, entitled “Jewellery Allure,” appears in the magazine’s February issue. Johnson shot models Xiao Wen and Grace Gao at Central Studios in Shanghai, China. Wen and Gao were styled in gems from Tasaki by Thakoon and glamorous clothing by Dolce & Gabbana by Yi Guo.

Stockton Johnson Gets Active for Vogue China

Stockton Johnson captures an active Ji Lili for the January 2012 issue of Vogue China. The fashion spread features the model in graphic sportswear and prints from brands like Celine, Alexander Wang, Ohne Titel, and Bottega Veneta, among others. Johnson shot the dynamic images in studio. The shoot was his sixth for Vogue China in the past year.

The stylish and realistic travel outfits feature clothing and accessories from Proenza Schouler, Tory Burch, Jil Sander, Burberry, J.Crew, and more. Hollar captured the travel-ready images on location at Fast Ashley’s Studios in Brooklyn, New York. Stylist Marino Muñoz styled model Patrycja against five different colorful backdrops.

Abbey Drucker in Vogue and Teen Vogue

Abbey Drucker’s photography is featured in recent issues of Vogue and Teen Vogue. Drucker captured model Britt Maren at Fat Radish Restaurant in New York City for the March issue of Vogue. Inside Maren discusses her style and how it has been influenced by her hometown, Houston, TX. Vogue fashion editor Kathryn Neale styled Maren in a textured wardrobe including pieces from Helmut Lang, Balenciaga, Jason Wu, and The Row. The laid-back and clean set focused on Maren’s individual style and influences from her hometown.

Stephan Würth for Vogue Latin America

Model Dewi Driegen depicts the carefree spirit of a sophisticated young woman enjoying her vacation at Pink Sands, Harbour Island on Eleuthera. This is Würth’s second cover for Vogue Latin America.

Henry Bourne: Design For Life

For the March issue of British Vogue, Henry Bourne goes inside the home of design luminary Marc Newson and style maker Charlotte Stockdale. The married couple resides in Howick Place, a former Royal Mail sorting office. The flat boasts 120,000sq ft, 16ft ceilings, and windows nearing 10ft. The expansive space houses many of Marc Newson’s design objects. The grey marble Lathed Table lives in the kitchen, Marc’s chartreuse bottle for Dom Pérignon rests on top of the Low Voronoi shelf, and the couple and their children eat with the tableware that Marc designed for Qantas airways.
