Naomi Campbell and Elton John cover the Spring/Summer 2011 issue of POP Magazine. Broomberg and Chanarin photographed Naomi and Elton for the covers and a 24-page spread inside. Singer Jessie J appears in the spread as well. Vanessa Reid styled Naomi and Jessie J in designs by Prada, Alexander McQueen, and Stella McCartney, while Elton wears Yohji Yamamoto shirts and various ornate sunglasses from Mercura NY. Phrases like “Little Old Me” and “Man, Moon, Head, and Pea” appear painted over several of the images.

Broomberg and Chanarin goes to Cairo for POP Magazine

Broomberg and Chanarin shoot the closing fashion editorial in the autumn/winter 2010 issue of POP magazine. The Britney Spears cover featuring artwork by Takashi Murakami is the last under the helm of editor-in-chief Dasha Zhukova. Editorial director Ashley Heath succeeds Zhukova.

The colorful fashion story has a taste, putting men center-stage in the most lady-like looks by designers such as Prada, Ralph Lauren, Miu Miu, Azzedine Alaia, Dior, Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Louis Vuitton, Yves Saint Laurent, Tom Ford, Jean Paul Gaultier, and more.
