Douglas Friedman captures Vera Wang at home in Los Angeles for the February issue of Harper’s Bazaar. The designer and life-long Manhattanite recently purchased the four-bedroom home in Beverly Hills as her “zen escape” from her work life in New York City. Friedman photographed Wang as she showed off the modern and sleek interiors of the house. The house features floor-to-ceiling glass walls and overlooks the Los Angeles Basin and the Pacific Ocean. Wang decorated the space in her favorite moody palette of dark colors. In addition to photographing the interior spaces, Friedman captured Wang wearing similarly dark shades of clothing.

Italian fashion magnate Diego Della Valle opened up his new Parisian pied-a-terre to photographer Henry Bourne in the October issue of Harper’s Bazaar. Despite running such high-profile businesses such as Tod’s, Hogan, Fay, and Roger Vivier, Della Valle prefers to keep a low-profile. Bourne’s photos capture an intimate and never before seen look into Valle’s remarkable Parisian townhouse.
