Tom Corbett continues his collaboration with British Cosmo Fashion Director Shelly Vella to bring us eight fabulous pages of this summer’s must-have ensembles for the workplace.
Tom Corbett showcases lavish, dressed up looks for the holiday season in Cosmopolitan UK. Tom worked with fashion director Shelly Vella on the cleverly titled “Baroque O’Clock” 10-page fashion story. The two have collaborated on shoots for years. “I had a strong sense of wanting it shot on different metallic backdrops and Tom expertly sourced the right colors and textures,” Shelly says. “As ever he helped in the casting of the right girl with just the right energy for the story, making something that can be quite ornate and stiff to be fun and quirky.” The editorial appears in the December 2012 issue of Cosmo UK.

Tom Corbett captures the attitude of a modern Miami bombshell in this month’s issue of UK Cosmo, on newsstands now. The outcome is a colorful and voyeuristic six-page fashion story, which is the third of the four in the Miami series. The fashion is a nod to the 20′s, as Corbett showcases clothing made of beads, fringe, and sequins.

Tom Corbett photographs eight fantastic pages of swimwear to covet in the June issue of UK Cosmo. The fashion spread, “Staycation Style,” shows readers how to bring the sunshine home when a beach vacation isn’t an option.

Tom Corbett captures eight pages of retro fashion in the February issue of US Cosmo. The story, entitled “Cosmo Girls,” pays tribute to the 1960s and the time when the magazine was born. The spread was photographed over two days last October. When at the last minute one of the locations fell through, the team ended up shooting some of the shots in the Manhattan office of the magazine. Tom Corbett photographs punched-up colors for the November issue of Cosmopolitan UK. The eight-page spread features bright, 70s-inspired clothes in clashing colors from popular British high street brands Miss Selfridge, Dorothy Perkins and New Look.

Tom Corbett photographs a fashion espionage mission for his first collaboration with German Cosmopolitan. The December issue’s spread features model Anna Thompstone as The Avengers’ Emma Peel. Thompstone channels Peel’s iconic strength and drama in classic colors, sexy lace and figure-hugging leather. Corey Wallace is Peel’s partner John Steed. The shoot took place at Crathes Castle, a 16th century National Trust castle and garden in the Aberdeenshire region of Scotland. The location was chosen for their sculpted 300-year-old topiary hedges of Irish Yew, which figure heavily in the images.

Tom Corbett and Fashion Director Shelly Vella take classic British clothes and transform them into funky and cool looks for Cosmopolitan UK’s October issue. Timeless tweeds, trenchcoats, and plaids get updated for the modern Cosmo reader. Model Kim Cloutier shows off her energetic, sassy attitude on the set in the studio in New York. The French-Canadian stunner has also starred in Victoria’s Secret and L’Oreal campaigns.

Fresh on the newsstands is Tom Corbett’s fashion story in the March issue of Cosmo UK. Readers will appreciate the youthful styling and the vibrant punches of color of the shoot inspired by the hit television show Gossip Girl. Model Kathrin W at IMG would look right at home with Blair Waldorf and fellow Park Avenue Princesses on the upper east side.
