Pocko People
Bio: Nomoco was born and raised in Japan. After graduating from the Osaka University of Arts, she moved to Europe and she studied at the London College of Communication and at the Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design. She widely exhibited around the world: Singapore, London, Tokyo and New York. For the first time in Italy, Nomoco was part of the Pocko Gallery opening group show Lets make out with the Trees series, and has a current show at The Gap pop up gallery in New York at 680, 5th Ave, between 53rd 54th St.
Staffan Larsson was born in Sweden in 1980. He graduated from Camberwell College of Arts in 2006 and has ever since been overwhelmed with joy and gratitude, trying to put ideas, dreams and memories on to paper. Larsson unites intuition with simplicity and craftsmanship to create emotional, bittersweet, often melancholic images, using pencils, watercolour, various print techniques, scissors and glue. With a passion for telling stories, Larsson spends a lot of time away from the drawing board collecting memorabilia. (He has a thing for Fassbinder and Sirk.) He now lives and works in Berlin.
