Bio: Peter Kraemer studied Visual Communication at the Folkwangschule/University Essen. Already while he was studying he was given assignments by the then Art Director of the Fankfurter Allgemeine Magazine, Willy Fleckhaus. Since he graduated in 1982 he has been working as a freelance illustrator and painter. In recent years 3D programs have become an increasingly important part of his working techniques. Subjects of his work are objects used in everyday life and technical details. His illustrations are very frequently used for annual reports and brochures. „What I like about this is that it mostly means creating a small series of images under a coherent concept.“ Besides commissions, he also regularly produces his large-format pictures. Peter Kraemer lives and works in Düsseldorf.
