Bio: John Steven Gurney studied illustration at Pratt Institute and spent his summers drawing caricatures on the boardwalk in Atlantic City, NJ. He started his career in New York City, and lived there for seventeen years, before moving to Vermont, where he currently lives with his wife and two children. He has illustrated over 100 books for children, including Dinosaur Train, his first book as author and Illustrator.
