New York born and bred, Karen Schijman discovered her talent for styling while pursuing a BFA in photography from The School of Visual Arts. Over the course of her 12-year career, Karen has left her mark in magazines such as Blackbook, Elle, Glamour, Marie Claire and New York Magazine, as well as campaigns for Nike, Liz Lange, Target, and Samsung. Her long running love of music has motivated her to pursue projects that combine music and fashion. She has also found that her Chilean roots have proven helpful both in tending to Spanish-speaking clients, and in ordering tapas.
