Jacqui Mair lives on the South Coast of England with her family and two stray cats who live in a kennel in the garden, She works from a chaotic studio at home covered in boxes of tissue paper and mountains of collage material and loves the smell of pure turpentine. When not teaching two days a week to undergraduates, she draws and paints endlessly to speak radio and is not adverse to a glass of good red wine at the end of a hard day.
