Bersa is photographer Anders Holmberg Gorgén who was born in Stockholm 1961. After finishing his studies in economics he went on to study photography at Kulturama School of Photography. He began his career by assisting Swedish photographer Kent Billeqvist in Stockholm for two years before moving to New York. In New York he assisted photographers Alex Chatelain, Barry McKinley, Tiziano Magni, Norman Watson and Mikael Jansson among others. After extensive travels, he went back to Sweden to start his own business. During these past years Bersa has also lived in Sydney and Los Angeles. The book "Clara’s Garden" was published in 2003 and the feature film "Completemente Loco" premiered at the Gothenburg Film Festival in 2004. Bersa contributed with his expertise in photography in both these projects. Bersa is currently living in Stockholm with his wife Kattie and their two young daughters Ebba and Olga.
