Venezuelan-born Alberto Luengo attributes his love of the aesthetic to growing up in a house full of creativity thanks to his mother, who is a painter. Inspired by the vibrant colors she always used in her pieces, Alberto decided to take a makeup class taught by a well-known makeup and hair artist in Caracas. While the class was scheduled to last a year, Alberto finished it in one month and immediately started working - first at a modeling agency teaching makeup application, and next on TV commercials and the Miss Venezuela pageant.
    
    Since moving to New York fifteen years ago, Alberto has worked on such high-end beauty campaigns as Escada, Oil of Olay, Clairol and Suave and for advertising clients like Sergio Tacchini, American Express, Verizon, Visa and Camel.
